The ultimate small business blog: Escorts

I was asked today if I was involved in this blog - EscortBlogs - and I have to sadly say no. Think of the business implications - as the San Francisco Chronicle recently noted, blogs level the playing field for small businesses, and what says "small business" more than an independent contractor?

The one funny thing is that if you read the FAQ of EscortBlogs and the FAQ of the recently launched Vespa Blogs, they read almost the same. And, the EscortBlogs FAQ actually has a great answer on why to blog:

What's a "blog" you might ask? It's a web journal or diary of your thoughts, observations, complaints, opinions, whatever...... Hate something? Say it in your weblog. Hate someone? Say so in your weblog. Need to swear out loud to make a point?? You can do that in your weblog....

Think of a weblog as a message board that YOU control. You decide what to say, how to say it, and no one else can stop you! Oh sure, they can still comment to your blog entry, but they can't complain to a moderator and get your entire entry deleted or get you banned for saying it! (Remember... no real information that might actually cause harm to someone!)

You have to wonder what the implications are, though. Escort - you are only paying for the companionship time, natch - but it has other implications. This is a great way to drive business, and will likely be a fun and interesting blog to read.

My big complaint is that it's a blog - where's the RSS?? Where's the comments??

Glad you liked the site and the "concept"

We actually do allow comments, although perhaps they are not that visible at first glance.

Just added RSS feeds this morning as well.

Since it was all custom code from a blank page forward bringing on board some of the bells and whistles of the "big blogs" takes a little time, sine I have to code and create it but the trade-off was that it's a super simple site for the "bloggers" to use, and that was item #1.... these girls don't like tons o' stuff or complicated procedures.....

I am genuinely happy to say that the webmaster who has done Escortblogs.net has also done my personal site as well.

He will not agree with me, but he is a brilliant webdesigner.

He is also going to be launching a new site very soon called: www.escorterotica.com as well as an affiliate program: www.escortxxxcash.com

I sincerely hope you will come back when escorterotica.com is completed. You will get to see how truly brilliant this webdesigner is.

As a British Provider blogging at EB.net, I just wanted to say I LOVE THE PLACE!

Dead simple to use, easy to navigate and easy on the eye. There isn't anything like it elsewhere. I'd feel restricted in what i could say on a mainstream Blog site, but not on EB.net. Thanks RIK

At any rate, we ladies are very pleased with the webmaster of escortblogs.net So much so that Kelly and I bring him home cooked meals to keep him happy!

He's multitalented too. He took the awesome new pics of me on my site. (I'm not a supermodel by ANY means, but he did excellent work with the materials (me) he had to work with) LOL

Escortblogs.net has only been live for a very short time, and it has already been picked up by Jane's Guide and oodles of ladies are flocking to it to set up their own blog accounts.
